Questions parents ask about Village

Village is a private app for parents. You can ask any parenting question privately and get one answer that combines what real parents actually did, what pediatric guidance recommends, and smart AI. You can also join circles of parents in your city, at your kids' stage, or with your background, and post with your name or anonymously.

AI chatbots give one confident answer, and parenting groups give hundreds of conflicting comments. Village puts both side by side: real numbers on what other parents did (for example, how many started solids around 6 months), the official guidance kept clearly separate, and AI tailored to your kids' ages and your city. And unlike a group chat, nobody sees your question (unless you want them to).

Your questions to Village's AI are private and only visible to you. In circles you choose whether to post with your name or anonymously, and you can message anyone privately, even someone who posted anonymously, without either of you being revealed. You can also turn off any use of your questions for anonymous insights. If you want answers from real parents, you can choose to post your question to a circle, anonymously if you like.

Yes. Any post or reply in a circle can be anonymous, and anonymous posters can still receive private messages without revealing who they are.

No. Village shares other parents' experiences and summarizes public pediatric guidance, but it is not a substitute for your pediatrician. In an emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number.

Village is built for parents and parents-to-be: newborns through big kids, first-time and experienced parents, moms and dads. It also has circles for life moments like moving to a new area, buying a home, going back to work, or planning a wedding.

Village is free during the private beta. Founding members also earn a free month in the future for every friend who joins with their invite link.

Village is invite-only during the beta. Enter an invite code from a friend on askvillage.ai, or join the waitlist. Parents are let in in small groups, and you can move up the line by inviting friends or answering a few quick questions about what worked for your family.

No. Village will never show ads, never run sponsored answers, and never sell your personal information.

Yes. Teachers and small businesses, like a mommy & me class, can create a private circle, split it into pods (one for each class or group), send reminders to every class happening today with one tap, and set up auto-replies to common questions.
